Advocating for health freedom rights

THE IMPORTANCE OF PROTECTING HOMEOPATHIC,
HOLISTIC HEALING & NATURAL HEALTH CARE FOR ALL

My role as a well-respected leader in advocating and grassroots organizing for homeopathic medicine, holistic healing, and natural health care, along with my legislative and lobbying efforts to protect and defend the health freedom rights for homeopathic and natural health care practitioners and the citizens who support them, has been one of the highlights of my professional career over the past 20+ years.

Being an active participant in the safeguarding of my profession was not only a necessity, but a burning desire to keep these natural and alternative therapies alive and well for future generations to come.

Here are the ways I honored that call to action:

As the National Grassroots Organizer for the National Coalition for Natural Health, in Washington, D.C, I was proud to represent, organize and lobby for homeopathic and natural health care non-licensed practitioners and their health freedom rights to practice without fear of persecution or prosecution, while I was working to defend and protect the health freedom choices, for the citizens of ten different states, across the country.

As president of the Idaho Coalition for Natural Health, I was privileged to lead the advocacy campaign, organize the grassroots effort and help to author the legislative language for Senate Bill 1158, the Naturopathic Licensing Act of 2005, which protected the natural health care professions of non-licensed practitioners and natural health care choices for Idaho citizens. It passed into law on July 1st, 2005.

In the 2008 Idaho Legislative session, my grassroots campaign to oppose Senate Bill 1425 was successful in protecting the health freedom rights of non-licensed practitioners and the citizens who support them.

And, again, in 2014 and 2016, I was asked to be the legislative consultant, in the effort to retain the right to practice for non-licensed homeopathic and natural health care practitioners, under the 2005 law.

Now, in 2023, as a professional member of the American Association of Homeopathic Products (AAHP), the National Center for Homeopathy (NCH), the Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA), and a supporter of Americans for Homeopathy Choice (AFHC) and Homeopaths Without Borders (HWB), and a former Board Member and representative, for Idaho, in the Pacific North West Homeopathy Association (PNWHA), I have the opportunity to further my advocacy outreach for Homeopathy, Holistic Healing and Natural Health Care, though national and tri-state organizations, alongside the professional advocacy and educational affiliations that I support.
